Graphic designer with 21 years of experience in print design, pre-press operations, marketing agency, creative director, and freelancing roles. I display a unique combination of creative thinking and acute attention to detail. Though an introvert who work great as a freelance designer, I also love collaborating with others. I have been a freelance graphic designer with my company, Thumbprint Creative, for 11 years, but now that my son is older, I'm ready to take on more projects and fun!

  • Worked with a direct mail specialist and a desktop publishing team to complete effective direct mail for a variety of national companies, including AAA Motor Club and Ameniti.

  • Created and edited forms, membership cards, and outside envelopes, with respects to postal and mail shop regulations.

  • Converted files to secure PDFs for client review and used preflight software to analyze files before being sent to a local printer.

  • Attended press checks, using a swatch book and a ruler to meticulously check every detail of a printed piece.

  • Create multi-million dollar capital campaigns for churches and non-profit organizations, taking projects from art direction to creation of print pieces (commitment cards, summary sheets, invitations,  guidebook) and digital graphics (slides, social media graphics).

  • Design books for authors, including full cover wrap, interior formatting, and e-book creation.

  • Create newsletters for clients, both print and digital (Constant Contact, Bloomerang, Mailchimp).
